Additional Assistive Technology Vision Supports

IMG_0612Kory Nystrom is a Rural Solutions/ Assistive Technology Support Professional at Easterseals Iowa and has been with the organization since August 2018. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a double major in marketing and business management. Kory decided to join the Easterseals Iowa Assistive Technology team because he has a passion for helping individuals with disabilities, and finds the work to be very fulfilling. Assistive Technology is important to Kory because he says that he most enjoys seeing the smiles and positive changes that Assistive Technology can provide to individuals, and it is rewarding to him to see the satisfaction individuals can obtain by trying new techniques or devices that may enhance their daily living.

The Easterseals Iowa Assistive Technology Program has some exciting new devices that may assist people with low vision to help support their daily living. Here are some more items that Easterseals Iowa has in our Assistive Technology Lending Library that may assist individuals with low vision:
